A Scratch remake of the 2014 original
Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) was created by Scott Cawthon and released on PC in August 2014. The game you play here is a fan remake built in Scratch and packaged for the browser with TurboWarp. It rebuilds the first game’s office, its 11 security cameras, the phone calls and the four animatronics, but it runs on its own timings, so tips written for the PC game do not always apply.
You are the night guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Your shift runs from 12 AM to 6 AM, and the clock moves on one hour every 80 seconds. Survive Nights 1 to 5, then a faster Night 6. Progress is not saved: Continue only works until you reload the page.
How to Play and Survive
- Click Play, then New Game on the title screen.
- Move the mouse to the left or right edge to turn and see each door and its buttons.
- Move the cursor onto the monitor button at the bottom of the screen to raise the cameras, then click a room on the map. Touch the button again to lower them.
- Click a light button to check the blind spot outside that door. When Bonnie (left) or Chica (right) is there, you have 3 seconds to shut the door.
- Watch the power reading and the Usage bars in the bottom-left corner until the clock reaches 6 AM.

Power: the numbers in this version
Power starts at 100%. One Usage bar is always on, and the monitor, each shut door and a light each add one more bar. They all cost the same. You lose 1% every 6 seconds with one bar, every 4.5 seconds with two, every 3.5 seconds with three and every 2 seconds with four or more. With nothing switched on, a night costs about 80%, so you have roughly 20% to spend. To be sure of reaching 6 AM, have at least 67% at 1 AM, 54% at 2 AM, 40% at 3 AM, 27% at 4 AM and 14% at 5 AM.
Essential Survival Strategies
- Listen for footsteps: Bonnie and Chica make footsteps on their last two moves toward your doors. That is the time to check the lights.
- Do not stay on the cameras with someone at the door: if Bonnie or Chica reaches an open door while the monitor is up, lower it within 3 seconds and they step back. Wait longer and they get in.
- Open the doors again: a shut door costs a Usage bar every second. Open it once the light shows the doorway is empty.
- Freddy starts on Night 3: he walks a fixed path from the Show Stage through the Restrooms, Kitchen and East Hall. His countdown pauses while his room is the selected camera.
- Do not let the power hit 0%: the clock stops when the lights go out, so 6 AM cannot save you. Freddy’s music box starts after a random 8 to 14 seconds and nothing you do changes it.
